A tabela/listagem a seguir traz as mudanças adotadas até o final de 2010. Os termos em VERMELHO devem ser desconsideradas e substituídas pelo termos em VERDE. Os números referem-se à página do Guia onde a informação aparece.

Since the original publication of this guide, in July 2005, some scientific names of plants and animals have changed due to taxonomic revisions. The following table/list displays the changes accepted by the end of 2010. The terms in RED should be disregarded and replaced by the terms in GREEN. The numbers refer to the Guide's page where such information is shown.
